At Corker Hats, we are committed to offering quality products that meet your expectations. We adhere to the guidelines set by Australian Consumer Law to ensure that our customers’ rights are respected. Below, you will find the details of our refund policy.

Refunds are only provided in cases where legally required, such as when a product is faulty or has a significant defect that materially impacts its use or quality. Under Australian Consumer Law, if a product is deemed to have a major fault, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or store credit. For minor defects, we will work with you to arrange a repair or replacement. In situations where you receive an incorrect item, please contact us with your order details and supporting photos, and we will rectify the issue promptly.

1.NO REFUNDS FOR CHANGE OF MIND

Corker Hats does not offer refunds for change of mind purchases. We understand that preferences may change, but to ensure consistency and fairness, refunds are only granted where legally required. In cases where a refund is not legally mandated, we provide customers with the option of an exchange for the same style and size, or store credit valid for up to 12 months. This policy ensures that customers still have flexible options while supporting thoughtful purchasing decisions.

2.HANDMADE PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

Each Corker Hat is handmade with care, reflecting the skill and craftsmanship of our artisans. Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in features like the positioning of eyelets are normal and add to the uniqueness of each hat. These minor variations are not considered faults, and returns based on such differences will not be accepted. However, if the variation is significant and impacts the functionality or appearance of the hat, please contact us with photographic evidence, and we will assess the situation.

3.HANDLING REFUND REQUESTS FOR PARTIAL USE OR DAMAGE

Corker Hats aims to maintain the highest standards of product quality. To protect against misuse or abuse of our return policy, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for items that show signs of wear, damage, or any alterations. Products must be returned in their original, brand-new condition, unworn, unmarked, and with original packaging. If an item is returned in unacceptable condition, we reserve the right to decline any refund or exchange and will return the item to the customer at their expense.

4.RETURNS FOR FAULTY ITEMS UNDER AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Corker Hats complies fully with Australian Consumer Law. If a product is found to have a major fault that significantly affects its function, customers have the right to a refund, replacement, or store credit. For minor defects, we will work with you to arrange a repair, replacement, or a suitable remedy. In cases where you believe a product is faulty, please contact us within 30 days of purchase with your order number and supporting images. Our team will assess the issue and determine the appropriate course of action.

5.PROOF OF PURCHASE AND TIME LIMITS

To process any return or refund request, proof of purchase is required. This can be in the form of a receipt, order confirmation email, or order number. Refund and return requests must be made within 30 days from the date of purchase. Requests made after this period may not be honored, unless otherwise required by law. This timeframe allows us to manage inventory and provide timely resolutions while ensuring customers have adequate time to inspect their products.

6.ADDRESSING SHIPPING COSTS AND LABELS

6.1For returns where Corker Hats is legally required to issue a refund, we will cover the cost of return shipping. In all other cases, including exchanges or returns for reasons not covered by law, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. For valid returns, we will provide customers with pre-paid return labels. If a refund is issued, original shipping costs will only be refunded if the product was faulty or incorrectly delivered.

6.2All refund or exchange requests must be made within 30 days of purchase. Requests can be submitted by emailing admin@corkerhats.com with your order number and a description of the issue. Refunds are processed via the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

6.3Subject to the preceding provisions and other ancillary policies of Corker Hats, refunds are only accepted for products that are returned in brand-new condition, unworn and unmarked, and in their original packaging. If the item is found to be used or damaged, no refund, exchange, or store credit will be offered. In cases where a refund is legally required, Corker Hats will cover the return shipping costs. For other returns or exchanges, the customer is responsible for return shipping unless otherwise specified.

6.4Proof of purchase is mandatory for all refund and return requests. This includes a receipt or order confirmation number. If a refund is granted for a faulty or incorrect item, original shipping costs will be refunded as well.
